chalet-ing, chalet-ting thru the rain....

People rarely change their minds. Why?
Because we have to be accountable to ourselves for any decision.

Hello people.

Just returned from my first chalet 'trip' ever. Whee.

It was pretty obvious to me how much i've changed, since my pasted self's voice could be clearly hear in my head. Thankfully i didn't follow him.

In chrono of my stay at Costa Sands pasir ris:

i reached the unit S-11 at aproximally 6 pm..... after maths peer tutoring, choir, a walk in the rain, a long train ride, a bus ride, another walk in the rain, running around, calling adeline, running about abit more, and spotting some familiar faces.

We all sat around for a while until most of the people who were supposed to be here were here.

Then we went to downtown east for dinner. the jap food at the hawker centre seems nice. After talking and eating, some friends decided to go rent bikes for the night. I have no ideas about their subsequent adventures as i went to walk around the place with the others. Then straight backto the chalet to watch the TV and watch the class play mahjong and poker and concentration and......... etc? haha

Eventually at around 2 am.... i fell asleep........ apparently in a fetus position.....
Come on, i had a long day alright?

got woken up by some noises. Apparently some of my classmates were leaving for breakfast. I declined to join them.... but after changing, thought better of it. We caught up with the rest of the group at macdonalds.... which was surprisingly full. After our enjovable breakfast we went back to the chalet to see the people who had stayed up all night sound asleep. After joining them in blissful rest for awhile
[ yea i'm such a pig],
i went back to downtown to meet up with others for some pool and then a light lunch.
of chendol.
what was i thinking?

We went back to the chalet after that. [ slept again haha..... pigish] the girls completed their marination and packaging of the stingray for the barbecue.

At 5 pm we started to prepare for the bbq. Or rather, we tried unsuccessfully to ignite charcoal and cook some stuff over bad flames while the experts went swimming. somehow we still managed to burn stuff.
[i really am bad at making stuff which was meant to burn burn. Unfortunately not all things are meant to be burnt]

upon the return of the experts, a proper flame blazed and the barbeque went into full swing at about 7pm.

Whee. i was too scared to try what was apparently v.spicy stingray. unfortunatley i had to leave at around 7.30pm after the rest had arrived.

learning point from this: chalets are FUN!
yours sleepily,
cisvol
